Today in the spotlight, stylist Camilla Krishnaswamy. Interior stylist Camilla Krishnaswamy’s course to her profession led her through studies in pattern design and upholstery, and an apprenticeship at an interior design studio; and her background reflects her aesthetic; creative, organic and eclectic, interested more in the diverse than the trendy; she occupies a space between fashion and interior design. Film and art inspire her, as do Art Deco, Brit style, odd objects and anything organic. She lives and works in her native Stockholm.
Kirstie van Noort (1986) is a young Dutch designer. She sees design as a way to communicate a certain process or the story behind a material. When she is intrigued by one of these a study starts by making detailed tests and experiments. The outcome of the research could form the foundation of the concept behind a final product or result in the research itself.
