I visited De Hallen in Amsterdam West yesterday. ‘De Hallen’ is going to be the new hotspot in Amsterdam West. It’s located in a renovated former tram depot that was used since 1901 till 1996. The building is transformed into a creative centre for media, fashion, culture and craftsmanship. It also contains a library, restaurant, hotel and in the future also a cinema and even TV studio’s. I was really amazed by the way the industrial building is renovated and designed. You can still see the old function of the building (even the old tram rails) and you can feel the creative vibe. Here some pictures of the Hotel. I will keep you posted about this cool new spot!
