Palomar Restaurant is located in the heart of London’s Soho district. The Palomar serves the food of modern day Jerusalem, with influences from the rich cultures of Southern Spain, North Africa and The Levant.
At the front of the restaurant you find a zinc Kitchen Bar, that overlooks the chefs. A mosaic marble floor leads you to the dining room at the back of the restaurant. The intimate space has a parquet floor, dark oak panelled walls, banquette seating in royal blue leather and features a skylight allowing natural light.
The new brand identity is designed by studio Here, a small team of multi-disciplinary designers based in East London. With the intention of conjuring up the ‘romantic and nostalgic feelings of bygone days’. The restaurant’s brand identity uses a contrast of hand drawn script and uppercase extended sans-serif typography. They’ve chosen for a light and dark color palette, uncoated paper and the gloss of a gold foil, to reflect the classic details of the restaurant’s interior. The new identity is looking very nice, love the color combination and the golden details. Also very lovely in combination with the marble tables.
